Joining a tournament on GUStakes

Joining a tournament on GUStakes is as easy as clicking a button! Follow this guide to learn how.

1. Registering for a tournament

   Once you see the main screen of GUStakes navigate to the bottom right hand of the screen and click on the “Tournaments” button in the bottom bar. Click on open tournaments and search the tournament you are looking to participate in

Once you have located the tournament you want to participate in click on the “details” button and then click “enter”. If the tournament requires a paid entry you will be prompted with a Metamask transaction with the fee to enter.

2. Initiating Match with opponent

Once the tournament has been started you can head to the “matches” tab in the details screen to start you match with your opponent. Copy your challenge code and paste it in the direct challenge mode in the Gods Unchained client. Your opponent is prompted with the same challenge code and notified in the GUStakes Discord to start the match.

Good to know: You MUST click on start match before playing against your opponent, or your games will not be picked up by the GUStakes client.

Once all the tournament matches have been played out, and the organizer finalizes the tournament, participants will be able to claim any prizes won, if applicable.

5. Claiming on chain prizes

If there are any claimable rewards from the prize pool or props pools, those rewards can be claimed by accessing the “event claims” tab and clicking the “claim” button.
